American college students decide to spend their weekend in a deserted cabin in the forest. From the underground facility, the two engineers manipulate the students by intoxicating them which in turn means they were unable to think rationally.  Over the course of the film, the two engineers release these monsters in order to kill the students in the cabin.

I particularly like this film because of the amount of clever CGI editing they have used in the screenplay. Due to the film being based solely around monsters and different spirits, the film makers have to use special effects. This enables them to create monsters like a unicorn or wraiths to name a few.

Alongside this, I think that the non-diegetic soundtrack that they use whenever some of the monsters are around helps the audience feel as though they are part of the situation the students are in. It creates tension and when action breaks out the particular piece of music becomes faster which in turns means that the editing of the cuts becomes far more regular and faster-paced.

I know that we aren't going to be able to use CGI like this when we create our product, however, I think that we would be able to choose anappropriate non-diegetic soundtrack in order to create the suspense that I feel was involved in this film.
