Interviews

We wanted the final product to have a professional look and feel to it; so in order to help us achieve this final goal we interviewed a teacher from our school who was a former police officer and they gave us really good feeback which enabled us to write an appropriate piece of dialogue which we shall include in the final product.

By asking questions about what sort of things are said during an interview we were able to take notes on the techniques that the policemen use nowadays.

I feel as though this information will be extremely helpful when creating the product - especially because the script has to be written well. Alongside this, it also helps us create a natural and professional, realistic feel to the product. We took into account that our target audience of 16-24 may not necessarily know whether or not the dialogue we used was authentic however, the point that we are trying to get across is that our product is authentic and is accurate. We believe that the audience will appreciate this extra detail rather than our own improvised script.
